Cooling Operator Full Time

Cooling operator is responsible for monitoring and documenting the temperatures of products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Takes and monitors internal product temp
• Responsible for all documentation of product received from the ovens
• Identifies and reports deviations to QA Manager discrepancies from products specifications
• Expected to provide accurate information on all forms
• Must be able to follow all USDA, GMP’s, and Company Regulations

Competencies:

• Be able to identify the product by size, weight, lot number, type, style, and color or product code
• Solid reading skills – must be able to read orders/match product temperatures as per the product specifications
• Able to follow instructions
• Basic math and reasoning skills
• Ability to understand and execute instructions
• Good written and organizational skills
• Team Player

Qualifications:

• Bilingual – English/Spanish
• Minimum of six months of related experience preferred

Physical requirements:

• Able to push and pull heavy racks during the full shift
• Able to withstand temperatures in a refrigerated environment
• Exposed to cold/hot temperatures ranging for 30 – 170 F degrees
• Position spends 95% amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision
